Weekly BOG Inspections: Keeping Your RVs and Boats Safe and Sound

At Covered Keeper, we know that your RVs and boats are valuable investments. That’s why we prioritize the security and maintenance of our facility to ensure your vehicles are stored safely. One key to our success is the regular visits from our Boots on the Ground (BOG). These site visits, conducted every Tuesday morning, play a critical role in keeping our facility running smoothly and providing you with peace of mind.

What Does the BOG Do?

Our Boots on the Ground (BOG) acts as the eyes and ears of the Covered Keeper facility. As a local resident of Port St. Joe, the BOG is familiar with the area and ensures that our facility remains in top condition. Here’s what a typical BOG visit entails:

Weekly Inspections: Every Tuesday morning, the BOG conducts a thorough walkthrough of the facility, checking for security issues, cleanliness, and overall facility conditions.

Security Checks: The BOG ensures that all gates, fences, and security features are functioning properly, making sure your RVs and boats are secure.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: From monitoring the condition of parking spaces to checking for any debris or damage, the BOG ensures the facility is clean and safe for our customers.

Same-Day Reporting for Timely Action

Once the inspection is complete, the BOG reports back to the office the same day, providing detailed feedback on tasks completed and any issues that need to be addressed. This regular communication allows us to take immediate action when necessary, whether it’s scheduling maintenance or addressing tenant concerns.

Reports and Photos: The BOG sends a written report along with photos and a video tour of the facility. This visual documentation helps our operations manager stay up to date on the facility’s condition and identify areas for improvement.

Task Completion and Future Planning: The BOG doesn’t just observe issues—they get things done. Any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks are completed promptly, and the BOG provides suggestions for improvements to enhance the overall storage experience.

Approachable and Available for Tenant Feedback

Our BOG is not just a maintenance expert—they’re also approachable and available to assist tenants. During their weekly visits, tenants can feel free to ask questions, offer feedback, or share suggestions. Whether you want to discuss storage concerns or need assistance with your space, the BOG is there to help.

Coordinating with Local Contractors

In addition to overseeing the facility, the BOG also communicates with local third-party contractors when additional work is needed. Whether it’s landscaping, repairs, or facility upgrades, the BOG coordinates with contractors, gathers quotes, and reports back to our operations manager. This hands-on approach ensures that all work is done efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your Peace of Mind, Every Week

Knowing that our Boots on the Ground are conducting thorough inspections and overseeing the facility gives our customers peace of mind. You can rest easy knowing that your RVs and boats are stored in a secure, well-maintained environment. Our BOG’s familiarity with the local area and dedication to excellence makes them an invaluable part of the Covered Keeper team.
